Midmark Equipment Service & M9/M11 Sterilizer Repair
Midmark Equipment Service and Sterilizer Repair
Chairs, delivery, and the M9 and M11 sterilizers that keep a practice running. Factory-trained, independent, and we check your warranty before we charge you for a part. A failed sterilizer stops the whole schedule, so these calls get priority.
Symptoms we see most on Midmark
Sterilizers are the calls we get most, because a practice cannot turn instruments without one. If any of these sound familiar, we have almost certainly fixed it before.
M11 or M9 fails the cycle
The sterilizer aborts, will not reach temperature, or throws a cycle fault. Often the door gasket, a solenoid valve, or the level and fill sensors. We diagnose the exact fault rather than swapping parts blindly.
Steam leaking at the door
Steam escaping around the door during the cycle is almost always a worn door gasket, sometimes a warped latch or worn hinge pin. A gasket is a fast, inexpensive fix that also restores cycle performance.
Sterilizer will not fill or drain
No water into the chamber, or water that will not evacuate at the end of the cycle. Usually a fill or drain solenoid, a clogged strainer, or a reservoir sensor. Water quality is often the underlying cause.
Chair actuator or foot control
Midmark procedure and dental chairs that will not lift, recline or hold position, or a foot control that no longer responds. Typically an actuator, switch or control board rather than the whole chair.
Delivery and syringe issues
Weak drive air at the handpiece, a leaking syringe, or holder valves not shutting off. Almost always tubing, O-rings or a valve cartridge, repaired across all operatories while the tech is on site.
Error codes you cannot clear
A fault code that keeps returning after a reset points to a sensor or valve that is actually failing, not a glitch. We read the code, confirm the cause, and tell you the fix before ordering anything.
Check the warranty before you pay for parts
Midmark sterilizers and chairs carry manufacturer coverage that varies by model and purchase date, and most practices do not track it. Warranty covers the part and excludes labor, which is true of every manufacturer. Before we charge you for a solenoid, a board or a gasket kit, we confirm whether Midmark still covers it.
Why the serial and model matter. M11 and M9 warranty status, and the correct replacement parts, depend on the exact model revision and serial. The same fault can need a different part between revisions.
Every unit we touch gets its model and serial logged. If a failed part is covered we file the claim and Midmark ships it directly, at no charge for the part.
Before you call, find the model and serial
Two minutes of looking saves a return trip and lets us bring or order the right part the first time.
Find the label
On M9 and M11 sterilizers the label is on the back or underside of the unit. Chairs carry their label on the base or lower frame. Each lists a model, revision and serial number.
Photograph it
Take a clear photo of the whole label and note any error code on the display, then text both to us with a short description of what the unit is doing.
We check coverage
We verify warranty with Midmark, match the part to your model revision, and tell you what the visit will cost before we drive out.

Midmark questions
My Midmark M11 keeps failing the cycle. What is wrong?
A cycle that aborts or will not reach temperature is commonly the door gasket, a fill or drain solenoid, or a level sensor. The exact cause shows in how and when the cycle fails, which is why we diagnose before replacing parts. Water quality is a frequent underlying factor.
Why is steam leaking around my sterilizer door?
Steam escaping at the door during a cycle is almost always a worn door gasket, and sometimes a warped latch or worn hinge pin. Replacing the gasket is quick and inexpensive and usually restores full cycle performance.
Is my Midmark sterilizer still under warranty?
Coverage varies by model and purchase date. Send us a photo of the model and serial label and we will check with Midmark before charging you for any part.
Do you carry Midmark sterilizer parts?
Common door gaskets, solenoids and filters, yes. Anything else is ordered the same day, and the return visit to install it is labor only with the trip charge waived.
Do you service brands other than Midmark?
Yes. A-dec, DCI Edge, Planmeca, Air Techniques, Dexis and Vatech, plus compressors, vacuum systems and imaging. See all equipment services.
Sterilizer down? Call, do not fill in a form.
A dead sterilizer stops the schedule, so these are the calls we move first. Tell us the model, the serial and any error code and we will tell you the fix and when we can be there.
