Why practices do this on a schedule

Preventive maintenance is not about the parts. It is about not losing a day of production because a compressor failed on a Tuesday morning with a full schedule.

A full dayWhat an unplanned equipment failure typically costs a practice in cancelled production, against a plan that costs less than a single crown.
Serials on fileWarranty claims only work if somebody recorded the serial number and install date. Most practices have not.
Scheduled, not squeezedPM visits happen before hours, after hours or on your closed day. Emergency repairs happen whenever the equipment decides.

Common questions

What if I have more than six operatories?

Each operatory past six is $65 a year. An eight-operatory practice on Practice Care is $479 plus $130, so $609 a year.

Can I start with a single visit instead of a plan?

Yes. Your first assessment is free for up to two hours, and a one-off PM visit is billed at the standard hourly rate. Most practices move to a plan after seeing the first report.

Are parts included in the plan?

No. Plans cover labor and scheduled service. Parts are billed at cost plus 15% for members, and anything covered by a manufacturer warranty is claimed on your behalf at no part cost.

How do I pay?

Monthly by ACH or card on file, or annually in advance. Plans run 12 months and renew automatically unless either side gives 30 days’ notice.

Do you service equipment you did not install?

Almost always. The plan is for the equipment already in your practice, whoever sold it and whoever installed it.

Start with the free assessment

Two hours at no charge beyond the $50 trip. You get a full inventory with serials, warranty status on every unit, and a plan recommendation based on what is actually in your operatories.
