From Dental Equipment Technician to Contractor
I founded GCMM Home Improvement LLC in 2021, building a general contracting business serving Westchester County and the NYC metro area. Kitchen renovations, bathroom remodels, interior painting — the full range of residential and commercial work.
In 2023, I took a position at Benco Dental as an equipment technician. That decision changed everything. I received hands-on training directly from manufacturer representatives — learning exactly how A-dec chairs mount, how Midmark delivery systems connect, how Planmeca imaging equipment needs to be positioned, and how compressors and vacuums integrate with operatory design.
In 2025, I returned to GCMM full-time — but now with a rare combination of skills. I don’t just build rooms. I build rooms specifically designed for the equipment that goes in them..
With 10+ years of construction experience and 2+ years working in dental equipment, I understand both sides: the construction requirements AND the equipment specifications. That’s why I can offer what most contractors can’t — complete dental office buildouts including equipment disconnect, relocation, and reconnection.
